Super Why!

Hudson at 2 1/2yrs old doesn't really watch much tv. Not because its never on, in fact our tv is on kids shows from the time Brookelyn makes her way to the living room at 7:30am until at least 2pm however its basically background noise. For some reason my kiddies always loved having their favorite shows on while they played but rarely did more then dance to the sign on of each show.

Suddenly Hudson has taken a huge interest in Super Why, a really cute kids program about a little boy named Wyatt who lives in a library and in every episode they need to solve a problem so they turn into "reading super heroes", read a story and make changes along the way to the story to help the characters through whatever mini crisis they are currently involved in. They sing the alphabet, spell words and collect "Super Letters" along the way. Its really an awesome show for little ones & teaches them SO many things. Hudson's obsession with Wyatt and the rest of the gang started about 2wks ago and now he watches it 3 times a day. He has other favorites too, Handy Manny being a close 2nd and Curious George however "Ash Why" as Hudson calls it, seems to be the show that Hudson will watch from start to end, the others get about 15mins of his attention on the best of days. Since this is the only tv he really watches, I could care less if he watches the entire show, it certainly beats the addiction to Dora The Explorer that Brookelyn had from 9mths to 4 1/2yrs old! As much as we enjoyed having Dora in the house, we are over her at this point and would rather not revisit that again!!
